Student Travel Insurance

A concern for any Student is that during my vacation time I may become ill or worse still, have an accident and then require medical attention or hospital treatment. When travelling overseas it is not always covered by your Health Insurance and to be left with significant bills to pay either during the trip or on return is not what most Students look forward to.

Your holidays and vacation time should be for rest and recuperation, at least mentally, and even if you are off on an adventure holiday of skiing, hiking in Nepal or the like. You do need the peace of mind that you can call on emergency assistance and have the treatment you require so you can return to your travels as soon as is possible. For these unforseen and unexpected risks you need adequate Travel Insurance cover, which even if you have health insurance cover for your intended destinations, you can be covered for lost luggage, stolen cash and other personal items and trip disruption, which may not be your fault.

In addition, an important aspect of your travel insurance cover is personal liability, which might seem an unlikely situation where you would need to claim on this cover, but it is a risk exposure where for minimal cost you can obtain cover for legal liability including legal expenses for bodily injuries or damage to property of other persons as a result of a claim made against you, for up to $5M. This and many other aspects of your risk exposure can be covered, giving you peace of mind to enjoy your travels.
